Committee Meeting Update

February 18th, 2025

Here is a quick update to let you know  that we held the first  Woodforde Residents Association committee meeting for this year on Monday 17th February, see our photo attached. We are keen to get things underway and make sure that you are kept informed of the following:

Boundary Realignment

This year will be important regarding the boundary re-alignment bid by the Campbelltown Council to takeover Woodforde from Adelaide Hills Council.  We will continue to have an active voice regarding the boundary re-alignment and we want to hear your views so that we can represent the community.  We will be in communication with you regarding this matter and how you can have your say.

Deputation to Council

We are going to present a deputation to Adelaide Hills Council to seek action regarding:

  • Budget commitments for Woodforde around infrastructure, including lighting, footpaths, maintenance and development of public spaces

  • Issues regarding traffic and parking management

  • Communication and consultation with community about Hamilton Hill development prior to handover of the responsibilities to Council

We will let you know when we are presenting to the Council, please come along and we welcome your say at the meeting

Community Activity

We are keen to improve our suburb by ensuring we get:

  • Improved community facilities such as play equipment, community gardens, accessible and well maintained public spaces

  • Increased opportunities for community engagement through gatherings and opportunities to come together as a community

Please consider joining the association and encourage your neighbours to join too. You can join here so that we can keep you up to date with more detailed information and work together to provide a collective voice about our suburb.
