About Woodforde Residents Association
Woodforde Residents Association (WRA) is an organisation representing the interests of its residents and we strive to support and promote our community to the council and state government. We also look to maximise the best outcome for residents during the boundary realignment proposal from the Campbeltown City Council who are attempting to take Woodforde from the Adelaide Hills Council.
The Woodforde Resident Association was incorporated in July 2024 and our first Annual General Meeting and Planning workshop was held on 8th September.
During this meeting we elected the Committee and identified three working groups to start to action what we want to achieve.

Work Groups
The Work Groups have been established to action the plan for 2024. The three groups are each focussing on the following activities.
Community
Garden and grounds management, Arts, Establishing a Coffee Van, Christmas event
Infrastructure and Planning
Street lighting, walking trails, recreation and general infrastructure matters
Roads and Transport
Footpaths, Parking, Cycling, Public Transport
Objectives
Our objectives are:
To support the cooperative engagement of residents within the suburb of Woodforde.
To bring about improvements to the social and environmental quality of the neighbourhood.
To become recognised by newcomers to the district as a point of contact with our community.
To be recognised as a representative voice for our community in dealing with all levels of government, community groups and with commercial organisations.
To lobby for change which will enhance the Woodforde community and suburb.
To work cooperatively with other associations and bodies to improve and maintain the quality and improvement of the Woodforde and surrounding communities and suburbs.
To assist in the promotion and coordination of cultural life of our community.
To seek and maintain membership of the association and do all such things as may be to the attainment of our objectives.
The WRA looks to maximise Infrastructure & Planning / Roads and Transport and Community Engagement that furthers the residents quality of living within our area.
